All levels of fitness and yoga experience are welcome and catered to. Your instructor has a lot of experience teaching classes to mixed levels from complete beginners to well seasoned practitioners. Everyone will be comfortable and challenged at his/her own level.
We like to start the week off slowly. This gives the students a chance to observe and experience how I teach as well as gives your instructor time to observe the different levels of the class so I can build accordingly from there. As the week progresses, the classes move towards a more dynamic flowing yoga with variations offered so that each student is working to her/his own level.
The morning sessions focus around different themes (i.e. hip openers, back bends, upper body strength, etc,).
The evening classes are run in a workshop style. Here each student gets hands on individual attention as our instructor breaks postures down including the Sun Salutation. We encourage students to ask questions and be active learners. One evening, you will be taught a somatic workshop. Somatics are a very gentle form of movement that help teach the mind and muscles how to reconnect and relax.
We included some meditation classes (which are optional) in the evening practices. In them your instructor will lead the group through a variety of different meditation styles: Metta Barva (spreading love and joy), reading the yogic texts and breath awareness.

Yoga is for EVERYONE or ANYONE who has an interest in it or a curiosity about it. Yoga is good for everyone. From babies to people 100+ years old. From inactive people to professional athletes. From people who like to move and sweat to those who don’t.
Anyone can practice yoga regardless of religion, age, sex, level of fitness, flexibility, stamina. I believe yoga should be taught to the level of the person, rather than the person trying to fit him/herself into level or style of yoga. Although the difficulty of yoga will vary from person to person, each and every person will receive its fantastic benefits.
Yoga is good for you. There are countless benefits to practicing yoga, only a few of which are listed below.
